As part owner, Dot has enjoyed many years watching Paragon grow and change to meet the needs of the customers, students, and staff.  Dot has recently discontinued instructing Parent-tot through Kindergarten classes to give more attention to her role as Staff and Facility Director, but she keeps current with teaching as a Substitute and Class Assistant when needed.  Dot's primary objective is to ensure that Paragon places the customers and students first and foremost.  In order to do this, Dot strives to incorporate safety and fun, with an excellent staff who are warm and caring, into a welcoming atmosphere for all that cross through Paragon's doors.

Dot enjoyed participating on her high school gymnastics team during her junior and senior years.  She later worked for NY Telephone Company and Bell Atlantic (Now Verizon) as a District Secretary, cable Dispatcher and Supervisor.  She left the telephone industry to start a family.  When she began working for Paragon in 1995 Dot's position was Office Assistant and Class Assistant.  Because she enjoyed working with children so much, she took the necessary steps to become a Pre-School and Kindergarten USA Certified Gymnastics Instructor.  Dot began teaching in conjunction with her office duties during her first year of employment.  As she grew along with the company, Dot acquired the roles of Staff Supervisor and Office Manager.  Dot continues to increase her knowledge and adapt new methods to the Community.  Her top goal is to create an environment that is safe, fun, has excellent customer service and delivers the best gymnastics instruction in the area.  Overseeing safety, continued education, staff training, certifications and customer satisfaction are just a few areas that Dot manages.  She also oversees all marketing, staff recruitment, staff management, customer communications, and office procedures.  Dot enjoys many challenges and rewards that her position as Facility Director brings, because she is fortunate enough to be blesses with a devoted and passionate staff that support these goals and strive along with her on this journey.
